Why It’s Important to Support Women in Music

Despite progress, the music industry is still massively male-dominated. Consider these stats:

• Only 2% of music producers across top charts are women.
  

• Less than 22% of all artists signed to major labels are women.
  

• Behind the scenes, the numbers are even worse: engineering, production, and executive roles skew heavily male.
